Carly McKinlay’s passion for fashion started at the age of three while visiting New York with her parents. She fell in love with bright yellow patent shoes that she just had to have! From that point forward, she always loved to surround herself with beautiful things from clothing to decor.
​
She was fortunate that her mother Hannah was extremely talented when it came to fashion and decor. Her Mother could replicate a formal gown with ease. The first knock-off Queen! Both of her parents took pride in dressing well every day and Carly seemed to naturally have this love of clothing in her genes.
​
Carly learned decorating from her mother, from fabrics to upholstery and picture framing. She was a part of it all and absorbed every detail. This gave her great, practical hands-on education in the art of decorating. All of this translated into making every home Carly lived in, a project of love, designed beautifully in her own unique style.

Over the years, this passion and experience for making all things beautiful enabled Carly to help her friends and then their friends improve their wardrobe and home decor needs.
